End User License Agreement

Application: BEC Business Dashboard
Provider: Border East Consulting Corp (“Border East”, “we”, “us”)
Effective date: May 30, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the BEC Business Dashboard application and any related scripts, tools, and updates (collectively, the “Application”). By installing, authorizing, or using the Application, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. License grant

Border East grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for your own internal business and reporting purposes. The Application connects to financial accounts that you explicitly authorize and retrieves data on your behalf.

2. Read-only operation

The Application is designed to read and report on data only. It does not create, modify, or delete records in any connected accounting system. Any analysis, export, or report produced by the Application is for your own use.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to: (a) sublicense, sell, or distribute the Application to third parties; (b) use the Application to access accounts you are not authorized to access; (c) reverse engineer the Application except to the extent permitted by law; or (d) use the Application in violation of any applicable law or the terms of any connected service, including Intuit’s terms governing the QuickBooks Online API.

4. Your credentials and data

You are responsible for keeping your authorization credentials and access tokens secure. The Application stores these locally on the device where you run it. You are responsible for the security of that device.

5. No warranty

The Application is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Border East does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the data it retrieves will be complete or accurate. Always verify figures against your system of record before relying on them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Border East will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by ceasing use of the Application and revoking its access in your connected accounts. Border East may suspend or terminate the license if you breach these terms.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
